General
The calculators and content on Sizeaholic.com are provided for general information and educational purposes only. We work hard to make every calculator accurate (each one documents its formula and cites its sources so you can verify the math), but we make no warranty that results are correct, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose. Results depend on the numbers you enter. Use of this site is at your own risk, and Sizeaholic.com accepts no liability for decisions made based on its results.
Sizing results are estimates
Sizing is not an exact science. Shoe and clothing sizes vary between brands, factories, and countries, and the conversion standards our calculators implement are conventions, not guarantees. A converter can tell you what size should fit based on the standard; only trying the item on can tell you what actually fits. When a purchase matters, check the brand's own size chart, which our pages link to or describe wherever one exists.
Not medical advice
Nothing on this site is medical advice. Our calculators are educational tools, not a substitute for professional diagnosis, treatment, or the judgment of a qualified healthcare provider. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of a number you got from a calculator.
Results are estimates from population research
Our results come from published population research, primarily studies in which clinicians took standardized measurements from groups of participants. That is the best data available, and it is much better than self-reported surveys, but it describes populations, not individuals. Your result is an estimate of where a measurement falls relative to that research, not a verdict about you. Measurement technique, natural variation, and the limits of any study sample all add uncertainty, which is why our pages state their sources and assumptions.
When to see a healthcare provider
Some things deserve a real appointment, not a calculator. Please see a healthcare provider for any medical concern, including persistent pain, fit problems that no condom size seems to fix, or ongoing distress about size. That last one is worth saying plainly: if worry about size is affecting your wellbeing or relationships, a doctor or counselor can genuinely help, and it is a common and treatable concern.
